Update: In the evidence preservation lawsuit, the current Civil Chief at the Minnesota U.S. Attorney's Office (who appears to be Ana Voss, based on the letter), refused to accept email service of the lawsuit last night and then refused to accept in-person service until Monday. Ridiculous behavior.

Beyond helping establish DHS itself in 2003, Mr. Mitnick was a senate-confirmed Trump choice for General Counsel for DHS in his first term. On DOJ's effort to get others arrested for the church protest. The Eighth Circuit — including two Trump appointees — denied DOJ's request to order the additional arrest warrants to be issued after the magistrate said no. [Note, though, that Judge Grasz's concurrence is a very limited denial.]
