The House C.R. that doesn’t fund more healthcare expires on 9/21 if it were even magically enacted as is the way Republicans keep demanding but not following through on so Republicans not taking today’s deal only looks worse because they haven’t even figured out a way to extend that date yet.

This has not gotten much attention, but it should. Virginia under Youngkin returned to an insanely harsh system where people convicted of any felony lose their voting rights FOR LIFE. Dems' win this week mean they'll get to advance a constitutional amendment to end lifetime disenfranchisement.
