Teaching in the U.S. is having a garden activity with elementary school students interrupted by police because there was a shooting nearby and they haven’t found the shooter still. We went back inside and the school had a code yellow for about half an hour.

Doing some genre studies activities with third graders and yesterday they got to choose to write a fiction or non-fiction text. One of them wrote a fiction story about the Minnesota Wild winning the Stanley Cup. (I guess they have never won yet🙈)
