My favorite myth is the lung size in trans women gives them a blanket advantage. Taller individuals naturally have larger lungs on average) & lung size is not a good predictor of sport performance (Hopkins et al., 2018; Degens et al., 2019; Åstrand et al., 1964).

Fact ~ no studies exist which shows trans women can run or swim faster, jump higher, or throw farther than cis women athletes. You have to demonstrate that before excluding” transgender athletes!!!!!

Today I’m editing a chapter on aromanticism. So I’m currently scrolling an 1850s German document (a language I am NOT proficient in) to try and find a reference for asexuality (for context, not conflation)!
