has paper quality in books gone down over the years? Because I feel like my sensory texture issues around paper books have increased as I got older, and either I'm more sensitive or paper's gotten worse. When I was a kid I had no issues, but in my 30s I have trouble touching paper books sometimes.

You know, the lady who “de-transitioned” from autism kind of baffles me, because 1) she’s obviously still autistic, and 2) I fundamentally don’t see autism as a bad thing. I was diagnosed quite early, and to my perspective it’s just a different mode of thinking. Cannot understand the fear of it.

one ASOIAF headcanon/theory I've never seen but hold to is that dye in the setting is incredibly easy to obtain in various colors: while dye was less difficult to obtain than Hollywood medieval depictions would have you think, the variety and ease that lords and smallfolk can get it is astounding.
