Related (to the Borg): I'm unimpressed with the Borg ship in S02 of Picard. It's just a bunch of spikes. That doesn't fit with the Borg design aesthetic... though it *could* have, if they'd kept with ships shaped like regular polyhedrons and went with something like a great stellated dodecahedron!

tbh watching cis people get arrested on trans people's behalf is more heartening than I would have realized. It often feels like it's just us, when the going gets tough. If private businesses risk themselves to continue to allow trans people use of the correct restroom, it'll mean a lot too.

Happy First Contact Day! I had no idea it was First Contact Day, and by coincidence I started rewatching First Contact last night. That's not a huge coincidence, though. I currently have 2 episodes of TNG, 2+ of Voyager, 2 of Picard, 1 of Prodigy, and probably more unfinished in my queue now.
