I was very impressed with Lukas Engel at FC Cincinnati and he developed nicely into a LCB in a back 3 I think if Real Salt Lake transition into a back 3, Engel is a perfect defender to add to that new look backline

That is only half the story. Salt Lake had picked a spot on Main Street for the stadium and was going to use RDA funds to help partially fund the project. The Utah legislature got wind of it and passed a law that said RDA funds could not be used for sports stadiums.

Since @realsaltlake.com won’t post here… Also if RSL changes their name to the Utah Ball Kickerzzz or some other dumb Utah name I quit. The only acceptable name change is SLCFC and move the team in to Salt Lake like should have been done 20 years ago.

Something fun to watch for in 2026 will be how Rafael Cabral is as a penalty stopper. Last season Real Salt Lake were tied for second-most penalties faced (9) but Cabral was able to come away with 4 saves. #MLS #RSL #SportsData
