Heavy news for #Quakes74 this morning, as the club announces the passing of head sporting strategist Vassili Cremanzidis. He was just 36. “There are no words to adequately express the depth of our grief,” the Quakes said in a statement.

Such sad news - Vassili was a trailblazer in MLS when it came to moving from analysis to sporting leadership positions. That he did all of this while fighting cancer and being so open about his journey made it all the more impressive. Sending my best to his friends and family ♥️

I think I missed this Tiotal article on the first go-round. I’ve been a proponent of cutbacks for several years, but there are definitely good situations for them and almost useless ones. The best ones always involve smart off-ball runs into available space that get defenders/keepers scrambling.
