There’s an app called Futez on the AppStore that’s aiming to be the Letterboxed of soccer. It’s a little buggy but it allows you to rate a match from 1-10 based on atmosphere, the game, and referring plus allowing you to rate players. Could potentially be a supplemental player as well. Teams can buy down players to the supplemental roster and Ramirez’s budget charge is pretty close to that number. The Galaxy will be on the hook for the rest of his budget charge, which they are either buying out or eating (my guess is buyout)

The Andres Cubas extension is one of the funnier nuances in MLS. Basically, if you offer an extension that isn't a full DP level to a full DP, the league can decide to average out the budget charges between the two deals.

Great read from Timi. Been thinking about this a lot within hockey and soccer similarities. In hockey, a stretch pass from the D Zone can find an attacker with so much velocity going through the O Zone that the defense is just bound to be flat footed. I wonder if this is how you do it in soccer.

This is a rip off man. I get the whole authentic vs replica difference but for $250 in NBA/NHL you get full stitched jerseys, like the name and number. Soccer jerseys are not stitched with their numbers. They’re all screen printed. Why would I pay $250 all in for that?

Streets won't forget Paxton Pomykal in 2019. One of the best seasons by any young midfielder in MLS period. Genuinely felt like anything was possible for him at this point. Highlight was probably that win over France in the U20 World Cup where he was untouchable.
