New — Institute of Museum and Library Sciences employees were allowed back in the building this morning to gather belongings after all being put on admin leave by DOGE yesterday. Supporters have gathered in front of the building and staffers inside have posted a visible sign that says "SOS IMLS."

Have been really struggling with the NIH news last night about indirect costs, in part because it feels like such an in-the-weeds budgetary item that a lot of people at universities might not know the impact. Let alone bad actors on the right looking for things with devastating impacts.
