On the palate - Black cherries feature here too, with cigar leaves, damp leaf litter, the rye brings a dark spiciness, with cocoa powder. The sweet fruitiness runs perfectly with those dark spices, they work so well together for me. #TLDCWhisky #LoveTheRye

‪London Distillery Company: Yesteryear - London Rye Whisky. I'm a sucker for a good European rye whisky and this is another to add to the list. Just the right amount of heat and spiciness for me. Rich with notes of moschino cherry, fig, rye bread and honey. #TLDCWhisky

When trying these three next to each other, you get a load of similarity. #3 Yesteryear. Nose: Sweet pastry and Playdoh, custard tarts and soft spice. Palate: Cinnamon-spiced pastry and mint imperials. Finish: More mints and cinnamon toast #TLDCWhisky

London Distillery Company: Yesteryear - London Rye Whisky. This has got an amazing nose, reminiscent of sitting in an old library, leather and pine furniture polish. Date and figs, floral honey, slightly burnt toast and cola cubes. #TLDCWhisky

I like this 1st fill Sherry Embarque a lot. In my old(er) age I am liking sherry more than I used to. All your usual Sherry notes plus some interesting ones. Play-doh is a first time note for me #TLDCWhisky

#TLDCWhisky Ten Times Around The Sun Palate: thick, sweet arrival, loads of vanilla and honey with a bite of peppery spice. Mouthcoating to start, the orchard fruit and icing sugar from the nose comes through and then the liquid turns all syrupy as it's disappears.

Kicking off with Ten Times Round the Sun. Only been waiting about 12 years for this... Nose: Custard tarts, a hint of lime, cinnamon toast and brown sugar. Palate: Loads of brown sugar (almost US rye-like) bready grain and hints of mint choc. Finish: Minty with more chocolate #TLDCWhisky

The colour of Sauvignon Blanc, the nose is rich and perfumed with leather, hyacinths, roses, beeswax, honey on buttered brioche, dulce de leche ice cream, vanilla fudge, milk chocolate salted caramel, caramelised bananas, and strawberries with cream #TLDCWhisky

On the nose I'm getting feelings of a warm summer orchard. Fresh apples and pears, cut watermelon and freshly mown grass. Also there's a note reminiscent of those mint chewy candies that we used to have years ago. #TLDCWhisky #London #Whisky

On the nose - Vanilla danish pastries initially, with lime starburst sweets, wood shavings, and pine scented cleaner. It does slowly evolve into more sweet tropical fruits, peach slices, golden syrup, lychees, and light Virginia tobacco. #TLDCWhisky
