#TheBordersDistillery #RightAsRain Palate: Sweet, far maltier than expected, a teeny bit of heat, soft white wine. Mouth hold encourages almond. Second sip, oh this is liquid cherry bakewell!!! Buttery, frangipani, cherry. Fecking delightful! Finish a little short, but for 40% abv, that's fine.

Dram 4 - Palate - nice, thick texture. Hints of maple syrup, Nutella (although I haven't had that in yonks!) and overripe strawberries. Nose suggested this would be a 'green' whisky but it's actually more of a red one #BraveNewSpirits
