Brian's Malt Musings 🥃

Southport Whisky Club has held regular tastings with Jamie and the different brands he supports. Living Souls is his own brand and we got to try some of Jamie's bottlings at Southport Whisky Festival. I immediately bought a bottle of his 25yo Dumbarton!

The new 5 year old 100 Proof offering from @Springbank1828 seems to divide opinions. Some love the brash, youthfulness of it whilst others find it too spirit-driven. Here’s my thoughts on it…

The Sherry Oak Finish from Laphroaig has been out a few years now. Oloroso meets medicinal peat, but is it a blissful marriage or a fight for who gets centre stage?
