This 2025 paper surveyed 160 energy modelers' views on the trustworthiness of energy modeling/modelers. The survey results are interesting, but the discussion of how energy modeling is *done* and *used* in actual, real-world practice is absolute 🔥🔥. A few quotes below. 🧵
