printing and texture-painting some custom minis for my Pathfinder group as a surprise for our arc-finale session on Wednesday. Drybrushing is bloody magic.

i bought a new resin printer for making tabletop minis and there is a little camera inside it so you can watch the print progress from your PC. and I can remote into my PC and turn it on, allowing me to surveil my flat from the inside of my printer as if I was a tiny little watchman living in a box

found a new use for my samsung freestyle projector which has been gathering dust for a while now. pretty rough-and-ready setup but it ended up working super well and made for a great session. made the maps in Dungeon Alchemist so they had animated running water and flickering lights, looked great

i love when I'm feeling for bony landmarks to position a patient for x-ray and they go "sorry my legs are so fat". thank you. that is not awkward as fuck for me, while i'm kneeling in front of you and touching your body. i have many comfortable, professional, fun ways to comment on your leg fat.

on a replay Mario Galaxy 2 has gone from being the one I thought of as the best in the series to kinda mid-tier. it's still great and Galaxy was a huge leap forward for the series but the movement feels so sluggish and weird after playing the newer ones

even though it's a completely different kind of platformer I love how DK Bananza bears so many cool hallmarks of the Mario Odyssey team. the plentiful main-quest collectibles, the surfeit of fun unique outfits, and a hideous garish lunch-themed level that sucks ass
