Well, interview is done and it went 40 minutes over. It went really well, and I may even get a position that just opened that pays more (vs what I applied for) that’s also up my alley.

Almost time for my interview today. It’s for an electrical technician job at an exhibit/interactive media design company that’s local to me. Something I’ve been wanting to move into career wise for a while, without having to move to Orlando. I hope it goes well. I think I’ve got a good skill set.

Remote interview went REALLY well and they want me to come in for a full interview! This is really exciting as it's a job / career path I've been wanting for a long time and until I found this company, I figured I'd have to live in Florida (again...) or California to get a role in.

Normalize getting your friends together, going in on a airbnb, and HANGING OUT. With a group it can be cheaper then a hotel and full weekend at a furry con. Last year in Hocking hills another couple and B and I rented a cabin for like less then 100 bucks per person for the weekend.
