Finished Beastars. Not spoiling anything, but I like how the story was restructured, changed and put together more coherently than the manga. Satisfied overall. I’m gonna refrain from discussing it further publicly since most people still need to watch it.

Surprised it took me this long to listen to Symphonic Danes by Rachmaninoff. In high school, I would look up the original after hearing a drum corps play it. I whistle Phantom Regiment 1995 often enough you think I woulda listened to it by now.

I always thought it would be funny to be signed to a one-year NHL contract to a team that wants to tank. I’ll make sure to get them that draft pick. I’d probably get killed though.

I’ve been in the fandom for a long time and it’s easy to get jaded and tied. But spending time with people that haven’t been in it as long and seeing them enjoy it reinvigorates my interest and has a way of transforming it. It’s really the people that make it fun.
