This is One Eye, named after a Swedish exploitation film. It turns out he actually has two eyes, but that was only apparent after the left eye healed. It does seem that he is blind or nearly blind in that eye, but it hast slowed him down much. May he be an inspiration to us all.

Historical legends are full of doom-foretelling prophets who were probably normal people that saw obviously bad decisions being made but had no power to stop it.

Every day I wake up and read news that sounds like the setup of a short-lived 1990s animated series. I can only hope that somewhere out there, an evil corporation is mutating/building/firing the very heroes who will one day bring it down.

AI exacerbates the biggest problems plaguing society: climate, energy needs, jobs, trust in journalism/institutions while preying on our laziness and lack of critical thinking and undermining small comforts like art and therapy. Now we're threatened with mutually assured economic destruction.
