I've been thinking about this a lot, for months: Gaza was a breaking point between verifiable reality and liberal governance. "AI" sparks fears ppl will believe things that aren't true, but Gaza SHOWED things that WERE true—& western governments, universities & news outlets pretened they were not.

One thing most people don't understand is that we in the US enjoy greater wealth funded by other countries because they assume we are a stable and relatively friendly hegemon.

the U.S. politics and polling punditry press simply acts as if propaganda doesn't exist when discussing electoral voting habits. This country's entire information system is an open sewer, agitprop saturates everything, informed consensus is under assault -- yet this just doesn't get a mention.
