Today is the day .. Sims 4 is receiving a huge patch. You know what to do. - Backup your saves - Put your game in offline mode if you don't want to patch - Remove all mods/cc - Do not play your legacy save until we know what's newly broken. - Do not report your mod issues in the bug forum.

Any posts not tested without mods will be booted to the mods forum. There's no such thing as: but I only have this or that mod. Traffic is insane and I can't deal with this on top of everything. Do your homework

On this note: INVENTORY BROKEN? 99.9% sure you DIDN'T remove your mods. And also, go update MC Command Center. The WORKING version is now 2025.5.1 and is on both Patreon (hours ago) and Curseforge (now). If you still have broken inventory MCCC 2025.5.1, REMOVE mods that aren't updated or cleared.

✨Mod Status ~ Patch 1.118✨ So it looks like I came through the patch unscathed. Preliminary testing generated no errors and everything seems to be working with the new patch. So I'm going to go ahead and clear all my mods for the patch. If you have any issues, let me know! 💖

This seems like an important thing for players to understand- and act on. I only started using the bug reports this past year, after years of playing. But we won't get bugs we want fixed till we do more of it.

This is from yesterday so I'm not sure if feelings have changed after today's trailer, but we need to be fair about this stuff. This is a TRUE expansion pack. Its expanding on things- and yes it stands on other things to do that. That's what expanding *is* though. These systems DO NOT already exist.
