Yeesh. When I sit down to play TS4, I always wonder how you folks who play no mods do it. Last time I got into playing, I had to use MCCC to disable autonomous flirting because sims flirted with everyone. This time I had to turn off auto mischief because wow it's bad right now.

I certainly won't regret deleting several small folders (organized by creator because I have very peculiar organization needs for Sims cc) as a mini purge today. I won't possibly wind up with partially naked sims in any of my CC saves. Not at all.

Every once in a while I forget I'm playing the current TS4 reward event in Strangerville with the Sigworth family. Then Jess takes off at a run like this at 2am and I giggle while I watch her flop around for a while. Thank you Jess, I appreciate the distraction.

Took Christie Sigworth off to Camp Gibbi Gibbi to say I tried a kids camp. Activities all worked fine. Except serving food and eating time. I keep having to set up having someone make meals in the time period before eating time to have any hope of having food for sims to eat.

Season 8 of My Hero Academia is now being released week by week and as a result I devolved into fan writing like a loon again. 20,000 words of an AU in a week kind of writing. This is not sustainable. It is fun though!

Running an old folks home just like I always wanted. In the Sims. The old farts are cranky. When you feed them a steady diet of franks and beans, I really do me "old farts." In 2 sim days of testing, I can say that getting a caterer to serve meals is much more effective than asking staff to do it.

Opened my Sims game twice. Had the advertising overlay get stuck on blue overlay mode and now you can't play twice. The full screen advertisements are the worst choice in this game.

Mucking about updating my senior home in hopes it can actually be used that way soon. This was such a fun build. The lady who runs the place is an immortal and Good vampire. I'm interested to let her really be a host for the oldies for once.

I also have this dreadful realization that I'm going to feel obliged to go back through a bunch of old community lot builds of mine for updates once the Adventure pack comes out. Not to make them custom venues, but to add in exercise bikes, playgrounds, and in ground hot tubs as appropriate 🙃

I usually play these TS4 reward events with my self sim. She has no children and I'm not changing that for one event. For now, I've borrowed little Christie from the Sigworth's to follow the prompts. I suspect I wont be posting much from this event. Oh well.

There. That took way longer than I expected. Created a CC/Mod free sims dump of a an 8 young adult fairy household for my homeless bin. Pleas game, use them instead of spawning your own. (It usually does, I've done this for all of the occults.)

My deepest respect to those of you who play sims with no default eyes or skin. Those eyes are terrifying.

I'm not going to sit here and try to argue that I don't have a serious case of "same face" when I make over sims. I like what I like. That said, my game has a same face problem too in what it spawns for me! The eyes color/shape, the skin color, and why are there so many kleptomaniacs?! 😭

I hemmed and hawed about buying the make up kit. I am able to use CC as I play on CC and there are so many amazing CC make-up options for TS4 that this was unneeded. Making over homeless bin sims last night made me buy the thing. Anyway, make-up is fun sometimes.

I'm laughing so hard about the randomness of the sims tonight. My guy lives in a residential rental - its been a hot second since I've played in one. The fuse box getting fried event happened. I send him to fix the fuse box and then the appliances. He gets zapped an dies. The moodlets! 🤣

Back up your saves! Also, if you really want to play a save you love right after an update, save it out under a new name instead saving over the save that existed before the update. If something is screwed up, it's in the new version of the save. Good luck out there 🤓
