I once had a very confusing conversation with an Indian guy who wondered if my vegetarianism included things like chicken and pork. I agree with this. It's not that there aren't uses for AI. It's that they're specialised. Nearly all commercial uses are currently predicated on artificially suppressed pricing, while AI companies quest for ways to make it as cheap as it seems now. Once that artifice goes, the bubble bursts.

No offense, but I can’t not see the convo among self-described radicals in the US on whether to vote or not as coming from privilege. I’m 33 and was only able to vote once bcs our parliament illegally extended its own terms a bunch of times. It gets far worse when you can’t vote anymore, trust me.
