I am one of the few who likes MEMOIRS OF AN INVISIBLE MAN (1992), which suffers from the disconnect between Chevy Chase wanting to play it straight and producers wanting a comedy (Chase is not THAT bad imo). But MVP is Sam Neill channelling James Mason as the villain. The scene with the gun!

Very sad to hear of the passing of the legendary film critic Tony Rayns. Was literally speaking to him just last month for some writing on an upcoming release of mine. One of the big reasons why so much great Asian cinema has made it to audiences overseas. He will be missed.
