I’m gearing up for my fourth SXSW (because of like 90 miracles). It’s weird that in 2023 I went to see a bunch of movies made by strangers. In 2026 I bother some of those former strangers enough that we’re comfortable demanding drinks/tea time in each other’s schedules. Life is wild.

If you work on an article long enough you go from loving it to hating it. If you work on it even longer, you begin to lose the the plot and then don’t remember what it was like to have a strong opinion about it anymore.
