I’ve been writing online for 15 years, and have been on both sides of the hiring dynamic. Beyond loving to write, the only reason anyone would do this nonsense is 1: cool opportunities/experiences; and 2: you get to work w ppl you love. If you’re providing writers with neither, revise your approach.
