Minneapolis and Saint Paul have basically mobilized into a war economy of mutual aid and non-violent defense. I’ve never seen anything like it, even during Covid. People who barely vote are guarding their schools from ICE and doing the shopping for neighbors in hiding.

My church hosted a local neighborhood group organizing to support Minnesotans. It was packed & likely the most important event held at the church in 20 years. I say that as a church attendee whose kids were christened there. Neighbor gathering to support each other & democracy. Weather be damned.

Minnesotans showed up & showed out today to help our Twin Cities neighbors in need, at our Northeast Minneapolis food drive this morning. Over 800+ community members reached out to help support with purchasing, sorting, organizing, and delivering groceries to ~125 families. My heart is so so full.
