ATTN NEW FOLLOWER five years ago during an extraordinary year for the world I offered my two cents, again, about one of the most underrated concerts in the hundred or so year history of recorded music, the now 30-year-old 12/31/95 phish concert, mourning the end of “3.0” phish.net/blog/1609342...

30 years ago today was Phish's very first time playing Madison Square Garden on New Year's Eve. 12/31/95 was also likely Phish's best time playing there on that date. We don't agree about much, but the calendar switch to 1996 is on most people's short list for the best show they've ever played. 1/4

N3 was fantastic as usual, per the 30th rule.
