Quick pro tip though is to add "before:2019" (without the quotes) to your Google search query, or something similar - I use DuckDuckGo's ability to define dates to show me results from 2010-2019, and not only does it mostly skip all AI recipes, it also shows me more of the weird niche fun sites haha

Yeah we know how horrible AI is for art & artists, not just in terms of plagiarising art itself but in making it really difficult to find accurate & real reference images; but it's also just made finding new recipes an absolute horseshit experience. Just a fucking minefield of wasted ingredients

I think the most helpful artist advice I can give is that if you see ANY photo at ALL of ANYTHING that makes you think "oh cool/interesting" SAVE IT!!! SAVE IT!!!!!! make a folder for reference pictures and file it away somewhere you can find it again "Oh but I won't draw that-" YES YOU WILL!!!!!
