More than 90% of the U.K population live in suburbs. So, we’ll never take large numbers of cars off the road unless we connect every suburb in the land to the nearest train and bus station with fully segregated cycle lanes. This is well within our capabilities. Let’s do it.

Today marks four years since the consultation on a #PavementParking ban in England - and we're still waiting for action. Disabled campaigner and journalist Katie Pennick says: "In this photo you can see what happens when parking places are put on the pavement. My wheelchair does not fit!"
