Carmel is a Strong Town 💪

This thread got me thinking: How much money do cities spend on the effects of traffic crashes? Using classic "you have to spend money to save money" logic, would it actually save money to build safer infrastructure? Turns out, yes.

When you design cities for people, you get life in return. Human-scale details invite movement, pause, and connection. It's how a street becomes a place rather than a corridor.

Every Saturday morning, the Carmel Farmers Market offers free bike valet. It’s a well-used amenity that makes cycling the easy choice and helps reduce car trips for a popular weekly destination.
