These are ālow enrollmentā majors but the classes are regularly at capacity. They changed the funding structure a few years ago here, switching the allocation from course enrollments to majors then blamed these departments for a structural, top-down change. This is entirely a political choice.

This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paulāan hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.

this is really good organizing between both unions and community groups working together and it's probably one of the best templates we have--build on local actions like this first, to get around the many obstacles of launching a general strike, so that we can work towards a national strike action.
