Discussion of this had me open up the Eisenhower West Small Area Plan and...wow. That did NOT work out at all! Approved in 2015, here's a sketch of the Plan's for the area:

Great tidbit here: new construction contributed $456.36 million to Alexandria's tax base this year At a the current tax rate of $1.135 per $100 of assessed value, that's just over $5 million paid into the budget (someone can check my math / understanding here, i'm not a budget guy)

This is tonight! Small Area Plans like the DSLUP lay out the vision for 10-20 years of change in an area. YIMBYs focus is on housing w/ a side of mobility, but this plan & event also cover parks, small businesses, city services, etc. Hope many of you can make it live to help shape the plan
