Someone from Rosemont Civic class they didn't oppose bike lanes, because "shared bike/car lanes" are possible. All non highway lanes are 'shared car bike lanes' also known as general travel lanes. Sharrows don't create a different lane they're just a reminder of where to expect bikes.

They object to consolidating the Z4H reforms into a single bill. These are the same people who objected to one of the reforms on the grounds that their neighborhood was singled out. Their bad faith knows no bounds.

I think the quirkiest place I've ever lived was Baltimore (in the late 1980s, so while I was in a gentrified name, there were still plenty of the working class whites with "hon" accents, etc) I grew up in pre hipster Brooklyn, but as a native I can't necessarily recognize the quirkiness.

Some brief points re Braddock Road Braddock Road from Russell to West has fast traffic and dangerous conditions. Safe walking and biking is especially important there because of the metro station and trails.

I regularly see people running and walking in bike lanes, even when there's an immediately adjacent sidewalk. It never occurs to me to argue against sidewalks for that reason. The fact that some less experienced people choose to ride a bike or scooter on a sidewalk instead of the bike lane isn't
