I loved the game, despite it's shortcomings. The story asked some fascinating moral questions. By the time I learned about them using Gen-AI in it's development, my playthrough was almost done. The game about corporate exploitation using Gen-AI to fill gaps, was deeply ironic and left a bad taste.

I genuinely can't overstate how big a deal it is to see a first party Nintendo game feature a dedicated Accessibility menu like this, so well thought out, detailed in depth before game release. There is literally no precident for this from Nintendo. This is a huge leap forward.

Sleep is a biological necessity, and sleep deprivation has real physical, psychological, and social consequences that need to be taken seriously. The way our society treats it as slothful to sleep according to natural rhythms (including midday naps and variant chronotypes like night owls) is evil.

*sighs* Steam Next-Fest is up. I go through my recommendations. A total of 6 games immediately catch my eye. Out of those 6, 3 games use generative AI in some way. And sadly, Steam hasn't been particularly strict on enforcing the "disclose AI on the store"-rule, so who knows if there isn't more.
