I can see a lot of people being annoyed at the use of "handouts" for refugees, but it is the same kind of terminology which has been used for years about benefit claimants. It feels to me as a case of deserving/underserving poor.

So bear in mind that when Labour are calling for these changes, what they mean is that itâs ok for some people to be treated inhumanly, as long as theyâre migrants, and that some families should be destroyed, again as long as 1 or more of them is a migrant, no matter what the effect on the children
