On Friday, I dropped off snack items and drinks for LMA & Tall Oaks Elementary School. The Family & Community Engagement team for CCS is running a snack drive from now until Oct. 3rd! You can drop off items at your school of choice or to the division annex. One great way to support our schools!

I’m a fan of downtown Staunton, Va. Somehow they managed to underground power (a feat Cville can’t manage). And there is such a variety of stores downtown - much more fun to wander around than Cville. I like all the one way streets, and they block off the main st I think on the weekend.

Our one year anniversary of getting Griff from Lab Rescue of Greater Richmond ( a terrific org). He was skinny and heartworm positive, but that’s in his past. He’s a great dog❤️

Our house was built in 1963 - astonishing that there’s zero insulation in the walls(we’ll add it here). We had attic space encapsulated - it’s pricey but very energy efficient. Finally repairing damage from trees falling June 11th.
