Adult English language students visited the bus yesterday at Literacy Volunteers of Charlottesville/Albemarle’s Student Celebration. Families shared a potluck and read their works to the gathering after visiting the bus.

We deserve a Democratic Party that is willing to fight as hard as we are. We need new leadership in this moment and to get there, we need a chorus of support for change. Tell your Democratic senators to call on Senator Schumer to step aside as Minority Leader. It’s time for drastic action.

Cheaper and the moral choice

The Central VA Community Support Fund raises money to pay immigration bond for individuals held in ICE detention. Since May, we've paid over $30K in bond, with a new $5K request coming in just two days ago.

Folks, saying ABOLISH ICE isn't hard. Quite easy. The water is warm here. Jump in. Mainstream it. People will follow.
