Re: The new free food bank on West Main. The most needed/most popular items seem to be food that's ready-to-eat — cans of soup & chili, peanut butter, granola bars, protein bars, etc. — and personal & feminine hygiene products. All these go fast. Things like cans of beans or tomatoes, not so much.
