Huge shout out this morning to @brennangilmore.bsky.social & @cleanvirginia.org ! 8 years ago, it seemed impossible to put forth candidates in VA who could remain principled & competitive w/o accepting money from corporate utilities (who then would exert power over laws, decision making, etc).

After some dreary local measles news yesterday it’s good to remember the good news….THE MEASLES VACCINE IS AMAZING!

A point of clarification in case it is confusing—the first thing to do if you were exposed to measles is to call the health department NOT to show up in a health care setting. If it is recommended that you go in, please wear a mask and alert folks that you were exposed.

We are doing our best to answer all your calls this morning about measles. If you are a patient at our office and know how to access the patient portal - you can check your immunization status on the portal.
