The Prime Minister lied. The whole policy to remove benefits from 18/19 year olds is based on a lie. The PM knows it but doubles down anyway showing his usual callous disregard and contempt for New Zealanders and the truth. “How many job hunters are there for each job ad?” #nzpol

Plus, all Luxon seems to be suggesting for them is seasonal jobs in horticulture. What does he expect the kids to do when those jobs finish? Move somewhere else, with all the upheaval that entails? He's just cruel & thoughtless.

I left home to study in another city when I was 18. It was a huge challenge. And that was staying in a hostel where I didn't have to worry about bills (except for hostel fees) or cook my own food. It's too easy to suggest that young people should just move. They need a heap of support. 1/3

Okay I finally got the recipe for my fave dish of all time. My only amendment to the recipe is to use half the amount of melted butter and to recommend cooking it in a Dutch oven as the chicken gets its best crispiness on that way.
