I attended a meeting today abt the rollback of protections for the Waitakere Ranges bc there's no ref to the Treaty in new RMA. Steve Able ptd to a picture of the Treaty. It lay in the basement & was nibbled by rats. Typical of Wgtn. Now was the time not to let the gvt nibble the Treaty again.

This weak coalition's actions underline the need for a Constitution to protect our values from asset strippers. We need to build a constitution that focuses on the Treaty, security of essential utilities, and environmental values. Make this country unattractive to big money interference in politics.
