Running commentary part 3: I have gotten pretty good at interrupting doctors right back, if someone isn't giving me the opportunity to explain what is going on, I stop them and say "I'm sorry but I have had a lot of dismissive doctors in my life and I really need you to hear me".

More running commentary on migraines: I am extremely lucky in that however weird everything around my migraines are, the actual migraine pain is so utterly specific and textbook "ocular migraine" that when it comes to the headache itself - I can shut down a doubting doctor immediately.
