Uh… Joraku good. Good game. Really good game. Instantly the family loved it, which is rare for my wife and kids. It’s so good.

The process of making the pattern I used by hand the entire time into one that’s legible for anyone else is both rewarding and very taxing haha.

I’m going to attempt to keep up with a thing for the whole month. First game of Solo-tember: The Lucky Seven Not sure what random jumble of BGG links brought me to TL7’s page, but damn what a good little game. I lost my first play. I’m excited to try more of this throughout the month!

I played a lot of Factorio lately, and every time I look at the Reddit for it, I remain flabbergasted there are so many things to learn. Like… Knowing the temperature of a boiler for optimum efficiency over distance? What even?

I remember backing the original Dustbiters and playing it over and over with my wife. I’m so happy other people can play it. It’s such a good game.

I have rage because I don’t have it yet. But I am so excited.

I feel like I’ve had the most shower epiphany of all shower epiphanies. If I want to make Gin Riichi, just play Riichi the same way I play Gin. Hell, my family only plays straight gin anyway, no reason to get more complicated than that.

A little bit of unexpected, simple happiness after a sort of stressful, sort of “beat me the hell up” kinda week. :)

I realized a few days ago that I was close to having played 50 unique titles this month, so I pushed myself (and my wife and daughter) to help me finish out the month strong. It was a good month indeed. :)

This game will ask questions of you like “Can you count?” And “No for real; CAN you count?” And also it’s a brutally thought-intensive trick taker my 12 year old consistently smokes me at. Disclaimer: I cannot count.
