Very sad to hear of the passing of MARJANE SATRAPI. A lot of the 'graphic novels' produced since the format became popular, really are collections, not 'novels' at all. Persepolis was something special. A novel that lived in my mind long, long after I read it. A very sad loss.

I got to unironically say "Magnets? How do they work?" at work today, and no one understood why that was so funny.

In my humble opinion, the indie market scene is the most exciting thing happening in the board game space right now. Come join the movement to make small batch games that can be as weird and special as you can imagine!

This is heartbreaking. She was an amazing author/artist, if you aren't familiar with her work, I highly recommend checking it out. Persepolis is a graphic novel abouther life, and growing up in Iran (there's also a movie)!
