I love the "Canadoan Owned and Operated" because: A) i know you mean this franchise location specifically is owned by a Canadian, but the parent company is still American And b) no one driving up here from Buffalo to serve me a coffee. Fuck off woth your technically corrects.

It’s been hilarious watching brands, especially the American ones, try to convince us how Canadian they are over the last year. I went to Subway today and they had a sign up saying “they’re not footlongs, they’re 30.4 cm longs!” Yes, that’s definitely how we talk.

I don’t know wtf a Dubai chocolate bar is but I like pistachios, sure. Then I see it’s a $25 chocolate bar? You seem to be mistaken, Lindor. We are in a Shoppers fucking Drug Mart. You ain’t that fancy if I can buy you, tampons, and a cold Arizona all at the same time.

(locking replies because im not looking for sympathy, i just have to get this out) I’m so tired of being mentally ill. I had the thought today that it’s like I’m grieving for nothing. I have the pain but no one died. What’s the point of that. Why does it keep going on like this.

"People are getting free food and they might not deserve it!" who gives a shit man literally one of the unambiguously good things about the 21st century is we have lots of excess food production and we have the capacity to have hunger be significantly less important in decision making.

Average house price in Ottawa last month: $780,187 Down payment on that: $53,018.70 Average latte: $7 53018.70/7/365=20.751 years Let’s assume I buy a latte every day. It would take me over 20 years to save a down payment by skipping the latte.
