I just read the first issue of Hidden Springs and this one feels pretty special. It’s a neat take on the kaiju genre and the characters are all really interesting, most of them being seniors and former actors, comedians, and directors. It’s a really cool premise I’m excited to see more of.

Six former celebrity seniors on a day trip to the woods come across a monster who survived a crash. The government is in search of it, and they receive a vision that if the “child” is captured before it can return to the ocean, it will be the end of the world. Fun first issue. I’m on board!
