In 2021 I did 10 days in solitary in a CO jail “for covid safety.” Folks who were struggling w/ their mental health pretended to be okay so they wouldn’t get sent back to psych. I went in w/ a healthy mind & came out w/ PTSD—but what they went through—just unimaginably horrendous conditions/cruelty.
