RIP Yuji Ohno. His music on the Lupin III series, countless other shows and solo albums are an incredible body of work. I learned so much about composing and keyboard from studying his songs. Also I like that one of his bands was called Super Sexual Transport.

Telecom animation is gone, Yuji Ohno is gone, ALL the original voice actors have kicked it…I wonder what the next Lupin series/movie/special will be, and if they’ll nod to the past or continue on to new things.

Yuji Ohno was one of the very best to ever do it. Without him, I wouldn’t have fallen head over heels for Lupin. My life wouldn’t be the same without being so taken by that iconic theme. His work on that series and beyond mean more to me than words can describe. Rest in peace, king.

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Yuji Ohno. A legendary musician who was the heart & soul of most of the music of Lupin the Third for nearly 50 years will certainly live on as his music & themes will continue to be synonymous with the famous thief.

Just found out Yuji Ohno - the guy who did the music on almost every Lupin related project from 1977 until this year - has passed away. It’s hit really damn hard because of how much I love the music. He was a god damn genius. RIP Ohno-san. Thank you for everything. We’ll miss you.

Having finally seen Jurassic World Rebirth? I can say this: Congratulations Rebirth. You are now the second worst Jurassic Park/World film of all time! Yay!

Just saw Lupin The Third: The Immortal Bloodline finally. That was nuts. Absolutely batshit insane but beautifully done. And I will forever commend the Koike-verse for the ending working really well. The *arc* actually felt like an *ARC*. I knew Koike was good after Redline. But wow.

Seems I’m getting everything at once lately! Classic Universal Dracula 4K set, the fan made Sailor Moon Tarot set and Dune II, Escape From New York and The Hidden Fortress BFI 4Ks as part of a sale! Awesome!
