Honestly? As a Sailor Moon guy I find it absolutely adorable that there’s an Artemis plush watching over Artemis II now it’s in the air. Somebody clearly decided to do it as a joke or as a mascot but it’s genuinely sweet One of those random ‘weird but cute’ things that I love.

Having finally seen Jurassic World Rebirth? I can say this: Congratulations Rebirth. You are now the second worst Jurassic Park/World film of all time! Yay!

Just saw Lupin The Third: The Immortal Bloodline finally. That was nuts. Absolutely batshit insane but beautifully done. And I will forever commend the Koike-verse for the ending working really well. The *arc* actually felt like an *ARC*. I knew Koike was good after Redline. But wow.

Seems I’m getting everything at once lately! Classic Universal Dracula 4K set, the fan made Sailor Moon Tarot set and Dune II, Escape From New York and The Hidden Fortress BFI 4Ks as part of a sale! Awesome!

the anime "filler episode" was a real and very specific thing that largely died in the 2000s. the way the phrase "filler episode" was interpreted by anime fans-- "anything that does not move plot forward"-- became a contagious disease that did immense damage to serialized storytelling as a whole

I’m a very lucky man to have both of these. Very stylistically different. But they both sound amazing. Satriani in particular sounded literally perfect. I could have been persuaded it was the master recording for Pete’s sake it was that good.
