Brilliant film!

Haven’t been out for a #GettingFit walk today. I’ve put today's energy into some gardening instead. Mowed the lawn, done a bit of weeding & trimmed a couple of bushes. Exhausted, breathless & my legs are hurting, but the garden looks tidier.

Some of my blood tests results are already in, which is pretty speedy considering it’s less than a day since I had blood taken. A few of the blood counts are all over the place. And my bilirubin is sky-high. But doctor’s comments say: “Normal for patient, no action needed.” Phew.

All done. Initially though, nurse stuck the needle in & no blood came out. She waggled it about. Still nothing. Nurse: “I’m not hurting you, am I?” More waggling. “No, it's..." <internally: ow-ow-ow> "...f-fine!” Eventually she had to give up & use a different vein. Now waiting for results...

It’s become so prevalent now I fear we’re fighting a losing battle. Stay strong everyone.

Finished watching 12 MONKEYS last night. Brilliant series! Lots of great timey-wimey interlocking & developing stories. Fantastic characters too, especially Emily Hampshire as Jennifer Goines. And the last episode was wonderful, tying up all the complicated #TimeTravel stuff perfectly. #12Monkeys

In case you wonder why today feels a little surreal...

Been taking my blood pressure at home for the past week as part of a health review & have just submitted the results. All 120/70 (pulse 72) - apart from one outlier of 140/90 (pulse 99) to make it look more genuine. That should keep the docs away for a while. #BloodPressure
