Sapphire & Steel was a British fantasy television series that ran from 1979 to 1982 on the ITV network.

This picture was taken shortly before Bruce Willis arrived and the three of them decided to set up a shoe shop.

Arguably one of the most successful writings by #agathachristie but perhaps read by very few fans? The playscript of The Mousetrap was 1st published in 1954 (shown here), but is still in print. I highly recommend reading her plays - after all she is the most successful female playwright of all time.

Saw the story on BBC News about the Covid Enquiry & they showed a busy ICU to illustrate the mayhem at the time. The pictures alone are pretty triggering for me, but even if I quickly look away the *beep-boop-beep* of the monitors & machines is much worse - gives me proper PTSD flashbacks.

This is great! Some mind-bending ideas about time. The section about how we listen to (and appreciate) music is especially good. Then all the #TimeTravel stuff - brilliant. <subtly tweaks the ongoing construction of time machine in my basement>

The Black Hole is a fantastic film. It really needs one of those big, glossy making-of/art books. The design of the Cygnus and the Palomino (and the robots) is absolutely stunning.
