I first saw Horror Express aged about 14-15, assuming it to be a Hammer. I couldn’t initially understand why it made feel a bit different. It was uncanny. It’s because it’s foreign! And I’d stumbled across my first Euro horror, and they do things differently there. Thank you Eugenio Martín.
