I picked up Arco today during the sale and it's doing that thing that only the best games do where it's all I'm thinking about and pining for my next chance to play. 3 hours in so far. Easy recommendation. It's like... R-rated Oregon Trail meets Into The Breach? Yeah, we'll go with that.

Out of curiosity, I wondered how the PS3 Emulation scene was going since I haven't tried on my 2 year old Mac. within 20 minutes I was playing infamous at 1080p with 100% compatibility using my DualShock 4. So... Sony if you need to know how to make this work, I got you.

I've been playing Forspoken after seeing @femtrooper.bsky.social post about it when I was looking for a mindless game to play. This game is way better than the hate it received. Yes, the profanity-ridden dialogue is the definition of cringe-inducing, but everything else is pretty great!

Anyone know how performance on Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake (jesus, calm down squeenix) is on the Switch vs PS5? I'm okay with lower performance, as long as it isn't choppy or noticeably weaker and I'd prefer to play the game on Switch... Anyone see any breakdowns yet?

This year, my 11 year old daughter and I have played through FF7 Remake, Rebirth, Crisis Core, Kingdom Hearts, and tonight we finished Kingdom Hearts 2. It's been the best just sitting around, talking and nerding out on Tetsuya in 2024.
