hey @jasonschreier.bsky.social loved today's video. I'd love to hear (or even see some data) about what Xbox's payouts to various 3rd party and especially Indie games they add to game pass. Does anything like that exist? I'd assume it is a steep downward trajectory over time.

@insomniac.games are among the accessibility greats, always have been. I've bought 3 consoles for their games, I grew up in the 90s. I can't wait for Wolverine... I kinda wish I could turn off the blood, or the intensity of it so I didn't have to wait until after kid bedtime to play it.

MY SON JUST BEAT HADES ON RUN 32 AFTER PLAYING 38 HOURS. That's right, my son who beat Cuphead and Punch Out Wii at 5 years old was my gamer, then got taken by Roblox for a couple years :( This year, at 8 years old, it was @supergiantgames.bsky.social that brought him back to real videogames.

Somewhat disappointing TGA this year. Really excited for the Badger game, Mega Man, and Tomb Raider, but the scales were tipped wayyyyy too hard on the Anime Free to Play and Samurai games for my taste.

I picked up Arco today during the sale and it's doing that thing that only the best games do where it's all I'm thinking about and pining for my next chance to play. 3 hours in so far. Easy recommendation. It's like... R-rated Oregon Trail meets Into The Breach? Yeah, we'll go with that.

Here's a stupid question for Playstation/Display nerds: If I'm playing on a 1080P screen, can I bump a PS5 game to Quality mode and see better performance than I would if I was playing Quality on a 4K screen? Seems like...that should happen, but I'm guess it doesn't?
